URBAN ART GARDEN: Bringing pottery art back to the city, making creation within reach

Making pottery should be so pleasant. 

Hello, welcome to "City Pottery Garden". 
This is the first blog we've written since our formal meeting with you. There's no complicated introduction. We just want to sincerely talk to you about: who we are, why we are doing this, and what we can offer you. 

 

01 | Who are we?

A group of professional practitioners who have been deeply involved in the pottery industry for 5 to 10 years.

Among us are kiln engineers, pottery teachers, product designers, and also "old hands" who have been constantly working with mud and have their hands covered in glaze. 
Over the past 7 years, relying on the domestic top-level home electric kiln brand - Jingtao Electric Kiln, we have successfully made electric kilns accessible to domestic households safely: transforming the original ceramic firing process that required 7 days and consumed 2 tons of wood into a daily experience that can be fired with just a few taps on a mobile phone and only 9 degrees of electricity. 

Now, with the same concepts of innovation, elegance, safety and convenience, we have extended from "kiln firing" to every aspect of "ceramic production" - and thus, URBAN ART GARDEN was born. 

 

02 | Why establish URBAN ART GARDEN?

Because we have discovered:
In this era of information explosion, systematically learning pottery and purchasing reliable materials and tools is still a task with a relatively high threshold. 
Newcomers don't know which type of clay or which kind of glaze to choose. 
Want to try pottery making, but have to buy a bunch of tools that won't be used up. 
The studio teacher complained about the inconsistent quality of the consumables. 
Despite having excellent creative ideas, they were discouraged by the cumbersome preparations... 

We thought:

Why not make some pottery for ourselves? Could it be simpler?
Could it be as easy as online shopping, allowing us to get it directly without the need for random selection and material waste? 

Thus, URBAN ART GARDEN has arrived.
We continue to follow the "technology-driven" research and development core of KEENCERA, focusing on home pottery art and the dissemination of pottery art experience culture. This enables each product to be more convenient, more innovative, and more practical.

04 | Final Thoughts

Today, with this same intention, we officially launched.
Perhaps it's not yet perfect, but we believe: Every piece of feedback during use will make the product a little bit better; Every sincere suggestion will make the experience a little bit more elegant. 

Every product of URBAN ART GARDEN - from a bag of clay, a knife, to a kiln, and a set of tutorials - has undergone multiple rounds of refinement. Because we firmly believe that good tools should allow creativity to flow freely, rather than becoming new obstacles. 
In the future, we will continue to be driven by technological innovation and take cultural dissemination as our mission. We aim to enable more people to experience the healing power of pottery creation and promote the integration of pottery from "professional workshops" into daily life.
